Feedback

As a service we aim to provide all families across Grampian the best possible care and treatment. If you have concerns about any aspect of your care we encourage you to speak with the team looking after you in the first instance, so they can try to resolve the problem for you as quickly as possible.

Should you still have outstanding concerns following a discussion with the team, or you wish to provide feedback on any aspect of the care you have received, please do so via the links below.  We are always happy to receive feedback, both positive and negative, as this gives us the opportunity to review and improve the service we provide, to ensure we keep doing what works well and to identify areas for improvement.

Care Opinion

Care Opinion is an online platform where you can share honest feedback anonymously. Your story might be about you, or someone close to you. You can say what happened, what was good, and what could have been better. You can use words, or pictures, or both, to help you tell your story. Your story will then be directed to wherever can help make a difference.  You can share your story here or call Care Opinion on 0800 1223 135.

NHS Grampian Feedback and Complaints

NHS Grampian is committed to providing high quality care and treatment to people in our communities through the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care.  We understand, however, that sometimes things go wrong.  If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your care, contact us and we will do our best to listen and make improvements, where necessary.  Complaints are reviewed and responded to on an individual basis, in line with national guidance that is set by NHS Scotland, Scottish Government and the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman (SPSO).  You can make a complaint or raise a concern in person, by phone, by email or in writing.  Find out more here

Caring, Listening and Improving

As a health board and a service we strive to care, listen and improve.  We actively put women, birthing people and their families at the centre of our planning to ensure we provide the best care possible with the resources available to us.

If you are passionate about maternity care and would like to work with us and our partners, to ensure a wide range of voices and experiences are heard, you could join the Grampian Maternity Voices Partnership.
