About the Grampian Maternity Voices Partnership

What is the Grampian MVP?

The Grampian MVP is an independent advisory and action forum made up of service users, their representatives and NHS staff. It exists to make sure that NHS Grampian listens to and takes account of the views and experiences of the people who use the local maternity services.   The current chair is a previous service user and NCT volunteer.

What does the Grampian MVP do?

The Grampian MVP monitors what maternity services are being provided to expectant and new parents and recommends changes and improvements. It acts as a voice for the people who use these services.   In doing so we build relationships and initiate collaborations between service users and various teams within the maternity service.
