Sleepless nights

Your baby will have their own pattern of waking and sleeping, and it’s unlikely to be the same as other babies you know. It’s also unlikely to fit in with your need for sleep. Try to sleep when your baby sleeps. The first months of a baby’s life can be the hardest for parents, who might get up many times at night to tend to the baby. Some people find that it can be helpful to talk to other parents who can offer you support and advice from their own experiences. It can also be helpful to reach out to your support network of family or friends for support in the early days. They can help by letting you get a nap or offer you some reassurance.
