Our Infant Feeding Team is made up of Infant Feeding Advisors and Community Infant Feeding Coordinators. Your Midwife or Health Visitor / Family Nurse will carry out a Breastfeeding Assessment and plan your care with a review date as required.
If you continue to experience breastfeeding challenges, you will be offered a referral to our Infant Feeding Team. The care they provide may be in person, via phone or via NHS NearMe.
You’ll also be given the ‘Breastfeeding: Your support in Grampian” leaflet in your discharge pack, which details important helpline numbers and recommended national breastfeeding websites.
You can achieve your breastfeeding goals, with the right support when it is challenging. We are here to support you.
